Player Evaluation
Development Should Have Direction.
At Land of Champions, evaluation is not a separate service. It is a fundamental part of how we train.
Why Evaluation Matters
We Don't Guess. We Measure.
Every athlete develops differently. Age, physical maturity, movement history and individual qualities all influence where a player is today — and what they need most to continue developing.
Without assessment, training is based on assumptions. With assessment, training has direction.
Evaluation allows us to understand the athlete's current physical and motor profile, identify the qualities that require greater attention, and design a development plan that is appropriate for that specific athlete at that specific stage.
Our objective is to move beyond "I think your child improved." We want to demonstrate where the athlete started, what has changed, and what should be developed next.
What We Evaluate
A Clear Picture of the Athlete
Depending on age and developmental stage, our evaluation process can examine qualities including:
How It Works
Evaluate Simple. Train Complex.
When we evaluate a physical quality, we do it under controlled conditions — so we can understand that capacity clearly. But soccer does not happen under controlled conditions. The evaluation gives us a baseline. Training then teaches the athlete how to use those capacities within the real demands of the game.
Establish a Baseline
We assess the athlete's current physical and motor profile using objective measurements appropriate for their age and developmental stage.
Design the Development Plan
Results inform the training priorities. We identify what needs to be built first and how to progressively connect those capacities with the demands of soccer.
Train With Direction
Training follows the development plan. Physical qualities are built and progressively integrated into soccer-specific movement, perception and decision-making.
Reassess and Adjust
We measure again. We identify what has changed, what has improved, and what the next development priorities should be. The cycle continues.
Part of the Development Model
Evaluation Is Built Into Everything We Do.
At Land of Champions, evaluation is not a one-time event. It is a recurring part of our development model — a tool we use to give training direction, measure progress and continuously improve the plan for each athlete.
This is how we ensure that every athlete we work with is developing in the right direction, at the right pace, with a plan built around who they are — not a generic program designed for everyone.
